NETCAL development began as a collaboration between the research groups of Dr. Jordi Soriano and Dr. Jordi Alberch at the University of Barcelona. Development continued at the University of Calgary in the Complexity Science Group, led by Dr. Jörn Davidsen, and in collaboration with Dr. Colicos’ lab, after Javier Orlandi moved there.
